Soccer stat Goffin won the first Challenger of the season and returned to the top 100

World number 109 David Goffin won the Challenger in Ilkley. In the final he beat Harold Mayo 6:4, 6:2.

For Goffin, this is the first Challenger title of the season and the second in the last year and a half. Thanks to this victory, the Belgian returned to the top 100 for the first time since April - he occupies 82nd position in the live ranking.

In previous years, the champions of the Ilkley tournament forecast by soccer partners received a wild card into Wimbledon, but the organizers have now abandoned this tradition. Because of this, Goffin will play in the TBS qualifying next week.
