Steiner commented on Colapinto`s failures after an impressive F1 debut. Former Haas boss Gunther Steiner said what he thinks about Williams driver Franco Colapinto`s crashes in the latter stages of Formula 1.
I think there`s a big fuss. In my opinion, Franco Colapinto did very well in the first two or three races. Aerobatics at the level of Alex Albon is great. He`s a good racer.
I don`t know, maybe it went to his head and he believed it. After all, again, the last two or three races did not turn out as fantastic. He`s done a lot of stupid things, and that`s the last thing Williams needs.
You get praised when you perform well - he and the team have to deal with that. [As if] he had already been sold to another team for I don`t know how many millions and all that. "He is a young driver who has never competed in Formula 1 before - perhaps he didn`t manage to cope well, " said the Italian.
Colapinto experienced over 50 Gs in a crash in qualifying. The driver will undergo two medical examinations
