Sidney Crosby spoke about the upcoming 1000th game of Evgeni Malkin in the NHL.
The 36-year-old Pittsburgh forward scored 1, 165 (451 assists, 714 points) in 999 career regular season games.
After the 2008/09 season, due to various injuries, Malkin only played twice in 70+ matches analyzed by online soccer stream in one regular season.
In the 2011/12 season, he scored 109 (50+59) points in 75 games, winning the Art Ross Trophy and the Hart Trophy. In the 2017/18 season, he scored 98 (42+56) points in 78 games.
This is an amazing achievement. Especially considering what he had to go through to get there.
A lot of guys who face these challenges don`t make it that far. So this is a significant achievement in itself, but even more significant all things considered.
