Real gave up on De Gea

Real Madrid was close to a transfer of De Gea in the summer of 2015, and the deal included also the goalkeeper Keylor Navas. Manchester United and Real Madrid failed to finalize the deal because of the closing of the transfer period.
Last season, Navas was harshly criticized because of some of his appearances and once again there were rumors that the Whites will try to get David De Gea.
`Before two years there was a disaster with a late fax. They (United) have sent it two minutes later and that was it. Last year we got off on the wrong foot, and at the moment we have two incredible goalies. Now we have no agreement with Manchester United.`, said Perez in front of the press.
At the end of the last campaign, the form of Keylor Navas got better. Now the main transfer goals of Real Madrid are the goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma from AC Milan and the striker Kylian Mbappe from Monaco.
The future of the strikers Cristiano Ronaldo, Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez at Real Madrid remains questionable.
