Allegri: 'In the Champions League victories never come easy!'

The Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri was not delighted, despite a 2-1 win over Sporting (Lisbon) in the Champions League. Success came very hard, as Toroians had to make a twist. According to the coach, his players are not sharp enough at the moment. He added, however, that in the Champions League victories never come easily.

We`re not sharp enough right now. Some players were absent for a while, others returned to bad shape after the championship via fixedmatches break. We must obviously continue to work. Last season is past. Now we have to play in a certain way to keep the level up. I think Gonzalo Iguayin played well tonight. It showed character, struggle and class. In the Champions League victories never come easy. We took a new step forward, but we still have a long way to go. We have to try to improve a lot of things that are currently kissing us. It can be said that the first part of the season is until November, then the second begins. The real season for Juventus will start after the next pause for the national teams. We made some technical mistakes, especially in the opening minutes. At the end, we risked a lot in search of victory. We created a lot of things, but we did not use them. We have to get back the stability she had tonight. We have to work on the physical condition of the team, as well as the speed. That will be done with lots of workouts, said Allegri.
